Sleep generated plaid
project 30% complete

This system requires a box full of sensors (heat, pressure, etc.), that take measurements every time you move around at night. The data from those measurements gets turned into patterns- future plaid. You could get good at reading the plaid and find out exactly what it means, or just take it for what it is and slowly learn what the different colors and directions could mean for you. Some plaids would be really hard to get, some very easy. With the plaid that you've generated in your sleep, you can make t shirts, patches (then quilts with the patches), stickers...Some nights you'd probably want to remember forever and some you'd probably be happy to forget. This project is in collaboration with Streamline Butterfly, a creative screen printing group in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
